Navigating Higher Ed in Uncertain Times – Perspectives from Students and Dr. Michael K. Moore

In today’s higher education environment, the challenges for students can be exhausting, and not just from an academic perspective.  The business processes – admissions, financial aid, accessibility, scheduling, tuition and fee payment processes, accessing and participating in online or hybrid courses, etc. – present a complex navigational infrastructure.  Why can’t higher education be simple?  The University of Arkansas eVersity tells students “college should be hard but going to college shouldn’t be.”

In this session on Wednesday, July 22 at 9:15 AM ET, Dr. Moore will address some of the more common complexities in higher education that can cause students to give up and drop out.  And in the time of COVID, higher education institutions must work harder to make the college experience even more simplified if they plan to keep or increase enrollments.  Dr. Moore will also moderate a panel of current and former students to get their perspectives on what needs to change.

Keynote Speaker and Panel Host:

Dr. Michael K. Moore
