The 2019 BbWorld + DevCon Call for Presentations Window is Now Open

Presenting at BbWorld is a great way to network, promote yourself and your institution and is a great resume builder. In addition, presenters also receive a discounted rate on registration.

DevCon
July 22-23

A two-day forum for system administrators, developers, and other technical attendees. Most activities happen right before BbWorld, but this year, some will continue through BbWorld itself. We focus on Blackboard’s various products: maintaining, configuring, and integrating with them. We dive deep into recent releases, our roadmaps, and API integrations with hands-on workshops and sessions.

BbWorld
July 23-25

BbWorld brings together educators and administrators from around the world to share best practices, discuss changes in education, and generate new ideas. As Blackboard’s flagship event, we set the stage to explore trends in teaching and learning, the student experience, analytics, institutional change, accessibility, employability, and community engagement in partnership with you.

  • Presenting Like a Pro. Get quick and easy speaking tips that make your topic and delivery memorable.

Early Acceptance Window

Looking to find out if your proposal was approved earlier? Submit your proposal by February 15, 2019 to be included in the early CFP review. The program review team will take a look at proposals submitted by this deadline and if accepted, you will be notified earlier than the rest of CFP submitters. If your session is not accepted during the early CFP review, your proposal will continue to be reviewed after the CFP window closes on February 28.

Submitting early gives you a chance of finding out an approval status earlier and allows you to lock in your registration and make travel plans earlier.
Please keep in mind that early submission does not guarantee acceptance.
